The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach combines a beachfront setting with a central Miami Beach address at 1 Lincoln Road. Designed by Morris Lapidus and opened as the DiLido Hotel in 1953, the property brings architectural history to a stay that puts both the ocean and South Beach’s shopping and dining within easy reach.

An outdoor pool and full-service spa give you reasons to linger at the hotel between outings. Dining includes Zaytinya by José Andrés Group, with mezze inspired by Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese cooking, alongside the oceanfront DiLido Beach Bar. The overall appeal is a beach vacation with plenty of choices beyond the resort.

What Guests Love

• Attentive hospitality: Multiple Google reviewers praise the welcome at reception and helpful service throughout their stays, with pool staff and the valet team earning particular recognition.
• Comfortable rooms: Google guests repeatedly highlight comfortable beds and inviting accommodations, appreciating a restful place to return after exploring South Beach.

What to Consider

• Club access: The Club Lounge requires a Club-access booking; Marriott Bonvoy elite status alone does not include entry.
• Parking charges: On-site valet parking carries an additional daily charge, so factor that into your plans if you bring a car.

This is worth considering if you want beach time without organizing your whole trip around the hotel. The Lincoln Road location makes it appealing for a first South Beach visit, while the restaurant choices give you an easy evening option when you would rather stay close.
