The Mutiny Hotel

The Mutiny Hotel offers an apartment-style stay on South Bayshore Drive in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood, near Biscayne Bay. Its one- and two-bedroom suites include separate sleeping and living areas and fully equipped kitchens, making it a practical option for families, longer visits, or anyone who likes preparing some meals themselves.

An outdoor pool and tropical courtyard provide space to unwind between outings, while the hotel’s restaurant, La Placita Taco Bar, serves Mexican food. Many suites have private balconies and bay or city views, though these features depend on the accommodation selected. The setting puts you near the Grove’s parks, shops, and restaurants; it is not a beachfront property.

What Guests Love

• Neighborhood convenience: Multiple guests praise the location near Coconut Grove’s shops and restaurants, appreciating how easily they can explore the surrounding area on foot.
• Helpful staff: Recent reviewers repeatedly highlight friendly, efficient assistance from employees, including valet and housekeeping teams, that helps their stay run smoothly.

What to Consider

• Suites vary: Accommodations are privately owned, and some guests report dated furnishings or bathrooms, so current photos of the suite you’re considering are worth reviewing.
• Parking charges: On-site valet parking carries an additional nightly charge, which should be included when comparing the total cost of your stay.

The strongest reason to choose The Mutiny is the flexibility to settle into your own routine. If you want room to spread out, breakfast at home, and neighborhood dinners nearby, its suite layout makes sense—particularly when you give the individual accommodation as much attention as the hotel’s location.
