Mayfair House Hotel & Garden

Mayfair House Hotel & Garden brings distinctive architecture and colorful interiors to Florida Avenue in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood. Originally designed by Kenneth Treister and reimagined for its 2022 reopening, the hotel combines an open-air garden atrium with individually styled rooms featuring handcrafted furnishings and artwork. This is a neighborhood stay, with beaches requiring a separate outing.

Room choices range from studios with private balconies to larger suites, with clawfoot tubs available in selected categories. The rooftop pool adds space for an afternoon break, while Mayfair Grill, Sipsip, and Fountain Lounge give guests several options for dining and drinks without leaving the property.

What Guests Love

• Garden atmosphere: Multiple reviewers appreciate the tropical greenery and interconnected indoor and outdoor spaces, describing a setting that feels removed from the surrounding city.
• Exploring on foot: Guests repeatedly praise the proximity to CocoWalk, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to enjoy Coconut Grove without driving for every outing.

What to Consider

• Additional charges: A daily destination fee applies, valet parking costs extra, and the hotel does not accept oversized vehicles.
• Room brightness and noise: Several guests report dim interiors or noise from neighboring rooms, streets, or events, so light sleepers should discuss room placement before arrival.

If you enjoy hotels with a strong visual personality, Mayfair House offers plenty to appreciate beyond the room itself. It feels especially suited to a weekend spent browsing the Grove and lingering over meals; choosing a room that matches your preferences for daylight and quiet deserves a little extra attention.
